Supporting Those Who Serve: HiveSTRONG’s Impact on CORE's Mission

Rachael Kelly serves on the Board of Directors for CORE, a national non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the families of food and beverage employees during times of crisis.

Kelly's commitment to CORE aligns naturally with her human-centered leadership philosophy. At Smokey Bones, her trauma-informed approach helped the company achieve industry-leading growth during the pandemic while earning multi-year Great Place to Work certifications. She understands firsthand the challenges restaurant workers face, especially during crisis situations.

CORE provides critical financial relief to food and beverage employee families facing qualifying crises such as health emergencies, natural disasters, injuries, or death. Since its founding, CORE has helped thousands of restaurant families across the country navigate their most difficult times.

Kelly's board service reflects her broader commitment to supporting vulnerable populations through her work and advocacy. As founder of HiveSTRONG, an organization supporting abuse survivors, and HiveSMART, she brings a deep understanding of crisis support to CORE's mission.

Her experience guiding teams through trauma and building resilient workplace cultures makes her a valuable voice in CORE's ongoing work to expand support for food service families when they need it most.
